EXTREME COP:CHICAGO PD

EXTREME COP:CHICAGO PD is the true story of JERRY ARDOLINO, the wildest, most violent cop in the history of the Chicago Police Department and that would mean: in the history of the world. Jerry Ardolino is the book’s author and it is the first true, full-length on-going story about the Chicago Police written by an insider. It has never been done before. Jerry Ardolino was a star-carrying member of that horde of hard-edged cops; the largest and deadliest “gang” in Chicago or anyplace else. The gang in midnight-blue leather police jackets who had the tools and the talent that enabled them to become known throughout the world, as the most violent, corrupt, out-of-control and; toughest police force ever to stalk the streets. And Jerry was to become known in that department from patrol levels, all the way to the High Command as being:"Extreme". Other Chicago cops committed one or two big incidents; got punished, fired, wound up in prison or they behaved until retirement. Jerry chose not behave. He chose to “light all the fuses” and run through the “explosions” and then keep on going. His spree of violence and wired behavior; the enjoyment of engaging in fast outlaw acts almost every hour of every tour of duty lasted nearly five years. It had never happened before and could never happen again. Nowadays, just one day of doing some of the things he did or even one act would land a cop in jail. How did he do it and get away with it all? It was just something that was supposed to be. He was a force of nature with a thirst for danger and did whatever he felt like doing immediately, without ever looking back and in true Chicago Police style; always aggressively advancing. The language is very strong; his erotic and sexual encounters with hot, beautiful willing women are “meltdown-level”; his partners’ street-sex encounters with female beauties are raw and real; and the violence is as graphic as it gets in print. However; this is not a “tell all” complaint book. On the contrary,EXTREME COP: CHICAGO PD glorifies the violent and corrupt ways of the Chicago Police but mainly, you experience “living” his ways of fast violence; fast driving; the heavy partying; the breaking open of constitutional law to suit each case and the breaking of criminals’ skulls and body parts. Jerry wrote most of EXTREME COP: CHICAGO PD in 1999 and then completed it on through the millennium. There have been some small diary-type reports in the past and even though his project was kept as confidential as possible during the production stages, word got out in literary circles and a small recent work was attempted by others, but those contain nothing that one can’t glean from the major newspapers and of course, don’t contain Jerry Ardolino’s story. But in any case, nobody has ever given you the real inside stories of the Chicago Police. He takes you inside the department. You get inside his mind and inside the minds of other violent and colorful cops he worked with; inside the violent acts, the bloody nights, the massive and lightning-fast destruction of property and people that only Chicago Police are capable of. You feel the wet heat of an erotic female cop’s sexual acts; gain an insight into the alleged mob-connected hit man cops’ ways; you’re in on the heavy inside deals within the department and Jerry’s five-year wild ride—everything. You’ll know what it’s like to feel the force of the cold, dark steel of his .357 Magnum, the razor-sharp edge of his stiletto blade and the weight and feel of his hard, smooth, black leather sap and how he got to the point where he wore the blood of his criminal enemies proudly. All conversations are written exactly as they were spoken, and when they were spoken and all the events are told exactly as they happened. And because it is an on-going full story, an inside documentary on paper—literary verite’—it is written in the style and way he would tell it to you then in the 1970s while it was happening; fast, raw, uncut, uncensored and with the strongest of language being used not only in the true dialogue but in the narrative as well. And that has never been done before. The writing style changes as the story progresses in time just as he’s changed—somewhat. You will be shocked and shaken by this true story. You will feel the tension and reality of street violence Chicago Police-style and the excitement in Chicago Police-style sexual encounters. You’ll feel the excitement of this cop as he blazes through city streets at tremendously high speeds. At other times, you’ll feel warm and you may shed a tear. And although it is a serious book about a dangerous lifestyle; there are times, you’ll laugh—you’ll really laugh. Some may feel apalled and some will applaud. But all will gain an in-depth understanding about the strong bonds, the camaraderie that becomes a way of life amongst cops and the complexities those cops face who live in a separate “police world” while still having to live a life in the regular world. You will really understand it all and it will be a unique experience. Jerry did things that some cops in other places only dream about, others are afraid to think about, and the majority; don’t even know about. It wasn’t planned; it all just fell into his lap. But, it is also a story of how Jerry, who had been an intelligent, sensitive and artistically gifted child eventually became this cold realist—cold to death around him and even colder when he tortured criminals. An enforcer of the law who would totally disregard the civil rights of anyone—even if they had diplomatic papers. And even though he had been raised well, he had a strong, inner rebellious and adventuring nature and got caught-up in a separate world where old-style Chicago Police, gestapo-type methods still existed along with the new ways of the so-called “New Breed.” That produced a cop who couldn’t be controlled—even by high-ranking, tough police bosses who had used “Tommy Guns” on hoods in the 1950s. He was even written up on the front page of a major newspaper; as a villain of course. The thing though, that threw everybody off-balance was the fact that he didn’t take bribe money—and never did. But for all the countless criminals that he sent to emergency rooms, the cars and property he destroyed, the outraged citizens and enraged police officials that he gathered along the way—he also tallied up a fair share of grateful people. Gentle souls who needed help fast. Peaceful and sometimes weak or oppressed people from all races and walks of life. He gave them help—fast. If anybody bothered those people and he was called; there was no way out for the offenders. They would wind-up wishing they were dead. This is the most off-beat non-fiction book about police that you’ll ever read. It goes way beyond any movies thus far and the so-called “real” documentaries about cops—bar none. You’ll be taken from the ghettos to the penthouses, to the nightclubs and interrogation rooms thick with the atmospheres of crime, hot sex and even hotter “third degrees.” You’ll meet the mob-connected men, the drug dealers, pimps, sex freaks, neo-nazis, nymphomaniacs and sadists—and those are just the police. You are also going to get aquainted with mob guys, politicians, playgirls, prostitutes, small-time hoods and big-time heroes in this original true story of the Chicago Police and the ultimate “Bad Boy” cop.

FROM THE CRITICS:
"From the Preface of Extreme Cop by Jerry Ardolino, "There have been many Chicago cops who have committed violent acts. Some have wounded or killed criminals in questionable shootings. Some have been drug dealers and pimps and many were burglars. But, none of them ran even close to me in all-around violent acts, dangerous car chases on a regular basis (some at 130 in heavy traffic), maniacal behavior during arrests, the torturing of criminals, the rule violations—which nobody had the balls to commit—and unprecedented civil rights violations all on an almost daily basis."---PLAYBOY, Editorial Section Quote with Photograph of EXTREME COP: CHICAGO PD Cover, May 2007 "shamelessly literate book section" with photograph of Book's Cover and Reader Quiz---LAS VEGAS WEEKLY March 8-14 2007 "Not long ago, Chicago Mobsters made Vegas their home. "I enjoyed the writing style. [EXTREME COP: CHICAGO PD] It really spoke to me. As editor of Police-Writers.com, I see all kinds of cop books. Guys write their memoirs; they read like police reports. Few of them get to a literary area where I think you´ve gone with this. A lot of cop books--I can read the scenarios and I can see it happening, but with yours the imagination is very peaked...some pretty erotic passages."---Lt. Raymond Foster, LAPD Ret.--Editor, Police Writers; Host: THE WATERING HOLE INTERNET RADIO SHOW For hard police action, hard-boiled cops, bloody crime scenes, the mob, druglords, the mafia, hoodlums, street criminals, fast car chases, street racing, hot female cops, hookers, street thugs, pimps, pushers and players--it's all in here PLUS the true on-going story--a literary documentary--told by the ultimate bad boy cop: THE EXTREME COP!!!
